Alaska oxygen rules at a glance

NoticeAdvance notice isn’t required, but Alaska strongly recommends 48 hours.
PaperworkAlaska’s oxygen page doesn’t ask for a physician’s statement. An agent reviews your device model, when you’ll use it in flight and your batteries.
BatteriesBring fully charged batteries for at least 150% of flight time plus ground and connection time. Spare batteries go in the cabin, never in checked bags.
SeatingYou can’t sit in an emergency exit row, and most POC users can’t sit in a bulkhead seat.
PowerOutlets may be available on some flights, but you can’t count on them in place of batteries.
Hawaiian AirlinesHawaiian has merged into Alaska and now uses the same oxygen policy page. Alaska lists the flight-number ranges where POCs may be used, so check yours when you book.

Policies can change, so always confirm with Alaska Airlines before you fly. See Alaska’s policy →
