  • Salt Creek Falls is situated in the Willamette National Forest. It descends 286 feet into a canyon. The overlook is just a short walk from the parking lot but if photography is in your mind, get immersed in the forest and continue on the trail past the Salt Creek.

  • Based on a wooded hillside in south Eugene, the Cascades Raptor Center and wildlife hospital specializes in birds of prey. Over 60 inhabitant birds of 33 local species are on exhibit, from pygmy owls to bald and golden eagles. It is another popular tourist attraction.

  • The Sea Lion Caves, located eleven miles north of Florence, are world’s largest sea caves. These caves proffer a plunge into the diverse species of sea lions such as Stellar or Pigeon Guillemot etc. On a fine sunny day it is even possible to catch a glimpse of a Killer or Gray Whale.
  • Sweet Cheeks Winery’s vineyard grows Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Coming across the Briggs Hill Valley, the Sweet Cheeks Winery proffers spectacular views of the place and old world charm. This 50 year old building was originally built in Junction City.
