As the name suggests, it give those with higher dosage or particular dosage needs more freedom to go anywhere they want. The Independence is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which means you can take it aboard an airplane and use it during your flight. Just let us know when you need it, and we can have your rental to your house in 24 hours.

The continuous dose settings offered by the Independence range from 1 to 3 LPM (liters per minute) in 0.5 increments. The pulse dose settings run in 0.5 increments on settings 1 to 6. This powerful portable oxygen concentrator can continue to work just as well and deliver an oxygen purity of around 93%, at elevations up to a little over 13,000 feet above sea level. That means you can even take the Oxlife Independence with you on a trip up in the mountains.

Your Oxlife rental will come with a supplemental battery that can be put in when the other has been depleted, and you can charge and run it simultaneously from any wall or vehicle power source. The AC and DC adapters needed for this unit are also included in the rental package. You may need extra batteries, depending on how long you need to use oxygen therapy each day, and how long your flight will be if you are traveling by air. We make it simple and cost-effective for you to add extra batteries to your Oxlife rental.

The Oxlife Independence is 15 lbs and on the larger, heavier end of the the portable oxygen concentrators that are available for rent. This is due to its larger range of oxygen doses. The concentrator itself is 20.2 inches tall, 10.9 inches wide, and 8 inches deep, which is likely much smaller and lighter than your luggage.

The wheels and handle are built into the design of the concentrator, which makes it overall lighter and easier to maneuver. The 6-inch wheels are made to keep the Independence high off the ground to prevent damage and to absorb the shock from any bumps in the road. The handle easily folds down and out of the way when you no longer need it.
